Ribe/Polydrive wie die Größe ermitteln?

Hi,
ich sitze anscheinand grade vor einer Polydrive Schraube, wo muss ich da messen um die Größe zu ermitteln?
Instructables sagt dazu folgendes:

Polydrive®, also known as Ribe CV", Ribe CS" or simply Ribe", is a fastener specification used primarily in the automotive industry, for example the VW engine head bolts. Ribe CV" for spline socket head screws are a registered TM of Richard Bergen GmbH Co.

A Polydrive® bit has 6 teeth at equal spacing and with flat tips to the teeth. Size is determined by OD diameter at the star points. Functionally, it is similar to Torx® and Bristol Spline drive, all of which are systems using internal bit-socket drivers along with specially-designed bolts, screws, and other fasteners. Its primary advantage over older fastener driver standards, such as the common Phillips® head (and its sibling Pozidriv®), is that it resists camout, and is thus used in higher torque applications such as brakes and drive-shafts.

Wobei ich ein kleines Problemchen mit der Übersetzung habe:

Size is determined by OD diameter at the star points.

Die Größe wird ermittelt am XYZ Durchmesser an den Sternenpunkten.

Sind die Sternenpunkte jetzt das was näher zur Mitte liegt oder das was weiter weg davon liegt? Und was ist "OD"?

ah okay. Also die größtmögliche Entfernung innerhalb des Schraubenkopfes. Danke !

Auch wenn das Ding schon uralt ist, aber man über Google hier landet und ich hier auch noch ein Login habe …………..
Und in diesem Link sowohl wie auch bei Wikipedia die Zitate falsch ! sind

Polydrive und Ribe bzw Ribe-CV sind nicht dasselbe .

Der VW Schlüssel ist ein 10,3mm, also quasi noch mal extra Sondermaß.
